Hi, I am Johnathan Tatman.

Throughout my life, I have cultivated a strong interest in photography.

Following approximately two decades of amateur involvement, I made the decision to dedicate significant resources and effort to this passion.

In 2017, I acquired my initial DSLR camera, which fundamentally altered my perspective.

In 2018, I initiated game-day photography for my daughter's soccer team within the Rockdale Youth Soccer Association in Rockdale County, Georgia. Initially, my focus was solely on my daughter, Julianna.

However, after several matches, I recognized the potential to expand my role to encompass the entire team. This approach would enable other parents to fully engage in observing their daughters' soccer matches while simultaneously providing me with an opportunity to refine my photographic skills.

Since then, I have captured thousands of images across hundreds of matches. I continue to document these athletes as they participate to this day.

My work over these years have been featured across various platforms, including those of Georgia Soccer, Georgia Revolution FC, TeamSnap, and the Rockdale Youth Soccer Association.

In early 2019, I combined my personal interest with that of my wife, Jessica, and began documenting her musical endeavors, initially with The Juicebox Heroes, then with Jess And The Two Times, and currently with her project Tim N' Jess.

This foray into live performance photography, a shift from my established sports action specialization, has notably expanded my photographic capabilities.

In late 2019, I broadened my photographic services to encompass family portraits, making a significant professional advancement and as avenue for augmenting my skill set. While I continued to enjoy soccer and band photography, I have developed a strong passion for portrait photography.

During the 2021 and 2022 USL League Two seasons, I volunteered photographic services for East Atlanta FC's match day operations. In 2023, I was employed full-time by the now-defunct USL League Two East Atlanta Dutch Lions, where my responsibilities included match day photography.

Since 2022, I have gained experience collaborating with local middle and high schools, assisting with capturing their sporting events for various purposes, including yearbooks and social media platforms.

Now in 2025, my photographic skills continue to develop, with a recent focus on capturing images of musical productions.
